Select a frequency and dB level using the dropdowns or arrow keys. Press the spacebar to play the tone at the selected level. If the tone is barely audible, press enter to log the hearing threshold for the selected ear.
Normal hearing thresholds are in the range of 0 – 25 dB hearing level (dB HL). Thresholds that are greater than 25 dB HL are said to be outside the normal range and indicate that a hearing loss is present.
